Arrington - Arrington is located about 30 miles south of Nashville and is home to the Arrington Vineyards. Arrington Vineyards produces wines that have brought acclaim and awards. Country singer Kix Brooks, half of the well-known Brooks & Dunn duo, along with his three Arrington Vineyards partners, Fred Mindermann, John Russell and Kip Summers, urges guests to come taste the wines and bring a picnic basket to enjoy amid the pastoral scenery after a tasting.
Brentwood - Brentwood is located eight miles south of Nashville and features a state-of-the-art library, park system with many walking, hiking and riding trails. As of the 2000 Census Brentwood was Tennessee's best educated city, proportionately, with 69.4% of adult residents (25 and older) holding an associate degree or higher, and 64.7% of adults possessing a bachelor's degree or higher.
