BOMA Representative Fireman Advisory Committee I just read your quotes in the ADVERTISER NEWS and wanted to express my gratitude for your message to the citizens of Spring Hill. Well done! The media coverage we usually get conveys a negative perception of Spring Hill. It is a pleasure to read an opinion of true optimism and that the sky is not falling.
Two years ago our city finances were hit with a three million dollar deficit and it was extremely well publicized, as you probably remember. Last year, the city had a two million dollar surplus and it was no where to be seen by our citizens. Greater things are coming for Spring Hill in the next few years. I personally believe we need to prepare the city for the next wave of the NEW GM employee(s) that will be moving to this area for these new jobs. Homes for under two hundred thousand dollars constructed with quality materials will be in need within our city!
Movie theatres, hotels, restaurants, bowling facilities (birthday facilities), and more parks and recreation are all coming.
